Welcome to the cozy community or “meadow” of the Pacific Northwest! A meadow has purpose in many cultures and in many ways and is absolutely personal to each individual.

For me, Doula Yaya, a meadow is a place after a long strenuous hike where there’s a break in the trees and I can feel, taste, and smell a new fresh breeze. I can pause to take in the view, for hydration, to refuel, to close my eyes and sit to be present in this moment and be in peace and rest before I gather my strength and continue onwards to the ultimate destination (like labor and birth).

At Birthing Meadows we can come together from all corners of the Willamette Valley. From all walks of life, with all unique and personal experiences to share our skills, passions, knowledge, and support with an unshakable and firm foundation built on faith, compassion, inclusivity, and care.

Here, every birthing person and new life is celebrated with joy and protection. A dedicated doula is here to guide, support, and cherish you and your growing family every step of the way, before, during, and after.
